lots of people builder in their climbing shoes. and as far as ethics go, don't ask people what is or isn't. ethics are a personal thing.
In reply to: "sex lies and videotape ; with alex telis's mom"...catchy i know... and are you sure a semi-colon goes there? you may want it gramattically correct, if someone was to publish it...

(actually, the nail pouch would make for a pretty good chalk-bag, and the hammer loop could hold a brush for cleaning off pigeon s#@*)

In reply to: people should have better things to do than give you flack about it... ben's actually right, but everyone gets bored sometime.... I haven't ever heard about the 'ethics of buildering' before, but my guess it is because buildering generally falls under one of two categories: 1) The owner of the building doesn't want you climbing on it, so really, no matter what you do it is basically un-ethical (okay, technically it is 'just' illegal, but....). 2) The owner of the building doesn't mind you climbing on it, which essentially makes it an artificial boulder. At this point, most of the time 'ethics' are determined by the general opinion of the majority of users.

I would see it as acceptable. The only reason I wouldn't wear shoes more often is because it is easier to run from people in tennies.
