My prana titans are my favorite pants but I like climbing in comfortable jeans too.

Oh crap! Those pics that Leinosaur posted made me have to change my pants because I was laughing so hard that I, oh wait, never mind.........

If you really want to see some sweet tights look for the book 'Rocks Around the World' by Stephan Glowactz. It's like a textbook for 80's climbing looks.

Oh yeah, I wear whatever pants that have a little extra room to move around in and cost less than $10. But no body knows the difference because I cut a tag off an old pair of my friends Prana pants and just hot glue it to whatever pants I'm wearing. It's cool because when people ask me where I got them I just tell them that I'm testing some new designs out or something gay like that. This trick also works for turning $1 bills into $100s.

without a single doubt in my mind, verve is the best company that makes climbing pants. they arent as functional as some (not alot of pockets on most) but they are soooo comfortable! they're made in boulder co and that is just so awsome. i highly recomend them to all of you

Did some prana rep start this discussion? Aren't you guys collaborating with Liz Claiborne or something?

zomg, I found my pranas on clearance at REI. I snapped those up quick. The only thing that's kinda funky about them (the Zions anyway) is they have a velcro fly and velcro on the back pocket (I'm not a huge velcro fan).

No ones going to believe this, but my best climbing pants yet:
Old Navy
-60% Cotton
-40% Nylon
-Elastic waist with bungy draw strings.
-BIG (zipper) pockets
-Bungy pulls for the ankles (keep pants from crawling over my heels when climbing)
-They feel like a TENT material, they breath fantastically (is that a word?) and they act as an excellent wind breaker.
-They are fairly thin and therefore very light weight... and for this they are EXCELLENT under a harness.
-They are also loose enough (not TOO loose) that it would be easy to "warm" things up a bit by putting a wool or fleese liner underneath. (I'm in Arizona, so that never happens)
-I spilled my buddies coffee (hot) all over me, and they dried up in like 5 minutes, COMPLETELY. At this point I realized they weren't water proof/scotch guarded, so I am going to do that myself and see how they hold up.

The best part is, they were on clearance, and I got them for $7.50!!!!

Watch out Prana!

For some reason Old Navy accidently created the perfect climbing pants... and from my past experience they'll never make the same pair again!
