In reply to: Kudos to grant for leading the whole thing. I would have lead had he asked, but instead ended up porting his backback and heavy as hell hiking boots up the entire thing. Over all an excellent route. A bit chossy to start but definitely a classic route beyond that. Has a little bit of everything, chimneys, laybacks, jam cracks, face moves, exposure and amazing views. The hut has one excellent s---.  David the yak. good route!! Best Brent

In reply to: Grant, looks yummy. Not sure how Nathan feels about alpine stuff, but I think I could turn him around  . Heck, he may even have to break out the hexes once we get out there . Ahhh sweet sweet hexes :) how I love them. I protected one pitch with just hexes, and I also took my #2 big bro which I used three times. But then again you're no stranger to my love of passive gear eh.

Did you read all 33 pages before this or skip to the latest? Anyway, you should know that in this thread you're supposed to flame Brent_E  Oh hey Brent, you didn't hear that right? And David, you're a fine one to talk of heavy as hell hiking boots. At least my boots were light alpine boots. Marge - let me tell you, I heard a pack rat planning to steal one of David's boots to use as a heavy duty bobsled for the family :tinfoilhat: Talk about a big boot to fill. You might be a Brent_E if you've found some way to stop a Chossmonkey from posting flames. :?:

I am having a hell of a time replacing them. I can't find a pair of boots as comfortable in the weight range. And that family of packrats... they were hanging around while you did the rappel off the diagonal break. We thought that it would try to get some rope nibbles in while we were on rappel.

I don't think Nathan has a very good maniacal laugh, but you never know. He'll at least reply to posts in this thread in such a manner to simply increase his post count though  .
