Here is how to make a comfortable neck brace for staring up on the belays! Get about 4 feet of flat webbing, it doesn't have to be runner strength and a single bar slide and a double bar slide - like used on the shoulder strap of a backpack. Cut into a piece that is long enough tie an overhand loop plus run from the back of your harness up under your right armpit and behind your neck and back down to the back of your harness. The second piece should be long enough for an overhand loop and run up under your armpit. Put the single bar slide on the non-loop side of the long piece of webbing, and secure the double bar slide to this end. Now rap a shirt, towel or other soft item around the middle of this webbing and tape in place. Feed the non-loop side of the short webbing into the double bar slide. Slip the padded cloth behind your neck and run the webbing under your pits. Now clip a biner into both loops and finally to the back of your harness. Now tighten the short webbing via the double bar tack. tada!

forget the chiropractor...... Go to an orthopedic doctor who specializes on the spine....they'll probably send you to physical therapy.....which is what you'll want
