People probably got sick of it after they climbed it every f-ing day in undergrad because they were too broke to climb anything else.

mrhungus wrote: Remind me again why this climb got chopped? It has been like this for at least 5 years. I'm all for climbing naturally if you can but in no way can this be lead via natural pro. If there was any way at all to lead this on gear I wouldn't be writing this. So what now? Lets got those hangers back on the bolts! From Route DB: In reply to: Protection: I think there is one bolt left so basically just natural pro or top rope never been. hope this helps ADD: do you place gear?

Ya, as far as pro is concerned that statment is only partially right. There is one bolt. There is no way to lead this with pro(I don't think anyway!). No cracks, no pockets, no weakness period. I have not been on it though so maybe someone knows of a spot that takes gear that can't be seen from the ground. The whole route is only about 35ft tall. Again, if I thought there was a chance of placing gear on this I wouldn't post this. I'm hoping someone familiar with the area will have some info on it.

For someone who has never climbed the route you started off sounding pretty arrogant. Besides, how good can it be if its only 35 feet?

YES I PLACE GEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not looking for some ethical debate here. I was simply looking for info on this climb. If it takes gear great, there's my answer. If it doesn't take gear, and if you have ever looked at this climb you would understand, maybe there is a story behind it. Have you been to Arkansas? Are you familiar with this climb? Do you place gear?
