Just bought a #10 BD stopper to replace my old one that my that my partner couldn't clean from Modern Times at the Gunks.

And... a Brand-Spankin' new pair of La Sportiva Muira's that I got for $69 bucks arrived in the mail today. I hope they make me climb harder!

Just bought two gorgeous BD Cobra ice tools. Now, the trouble is that there isn't so much ice right now, so I have to restrain myself from destroying the walls of my flat by climbing through the plaster...

There was a sale on natty light at price chopper- 12.99 per 30! Just bought 150 cans.

This is the newest and finest addition to my rack, and I imagine I'll have all the gear I'll need for my next trip.

My most recent purchase is either:

Getting all my 10-11 year-old cams reslung by Metolius as we speak.

I did that once - sent my cams to Metolius for the ole resling. They condemned my two smallest cams, pointing out that these first generation gems BOTH HAD BROKEN AXLES.

Just an update: I got back my cams today. (No condemnations, by the way!)

I don't know if they dunk them in an ultrasonic bath or what, but they came back freakin' SHINEY!!! With the new slings you can't tell that they're 10 years old. I'm going to look like a nOOb until I can get them scuffed up again!

I just had all of my Met cams reslung by them last year. Best money I ever spent.

(sigh) The shine is all but gone now (sigh).

A yellow BD Speed 40 pack. It's tasty. A lot of people don't like how the "brain" is attached, but I love it.
