Hey everyone, I have some pain running from the back of neck (just to the left of my spine) that runs down to the shoulder joint following the rear portion shoulder when I turn my head or move my shoulder certain ways. I have a two theories of how it happened, one a traumatic injury I sustained while mantling about 2 months ago and another is a chronic injury. Being a law student I spend a lot of time reading and highlighting with my head tilted to that side and I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it. No real loss of strength and my shoulder is not loose or dislocating. It kind of just feels "off" all the time and then I get that strange pain that extends from my neck down into my shoulder socket. Any ideas what this could be?

grassroots, to me, the injury is a cervical disk derangement until proven otherwise. i'm a fan of the McKenzie method for spines, but others also have success with other approaches. http://mckenziemdt.org
