I have $175 to spend and with winter climbing all but dead that's not a priority now. Here is my current rack:

What should I get? Looking at my current amount of gear what is missing? What would you personally add to help fill in any gaps? Doubles on cams is out as that is more like $1600 than $175.

It looks like you already have doubles of most cams in the smaller sizes. Maybe another 2 and 3? Micronuts?

don't know, you have a huge pile of worthless shit along with the good stuff there. What do you climb?

Safe the 175$ for when you really need them?
Your rack seems to be to big anyways ...

But if you must spend it, and need suggestions: Get some of those fancy ultralight hot forged biners from Wild country or DMM. You only have oldschool (and solid gate) biners. Get with the times fashion whatever ...

As others have said, you have more than you necessarily need. You could go for doubles in a couple sizes of mid-sized cams if you feel like you really want to invest in more gear.

A better option may be putting it into a trip fund. If putting it in your regular checking or savings account means it will get lost or used for other things, you could start an ING account (or something similar) just dedicated to climbing.

Edit - Damn! Beat by j_ung.

The only thing that I would add would be a set of the DMM Offset nuts, which would run about $75.

Spend the rest on gas/food/camping and go on a climbing trip!

If that were my rack, I'd probably get some micro nuts and ball nuts.

But it's not my rack, and if you needed micro nuts you'd know it already. All the earlier posters are right - you don't need shit - just go climb.

GO

Weights.
If you are asking about non-specific gear to add to that rack, you are really looking to just add weight. So, you'll get the most bang for your buck by buying barbells or weight plates.

Judging from the three pairs of mad monkeys, you've got a growing kid.

Find a clearance sale and buy a couple pairs of shoes, each 1/2 size bigger than the current ones. That should last a year or so.

Kid helmet, backpack, headlamp?

If it were me, I'd double hand-sized cams (there's a good deal on c4s at ALSsports.com; you could pick up 3 cams for $175 there). But then I like climbing long hand cracks. The question is, what do you want to climb that you currently can't protect?

Option 2: Get some crampons to go with your tools. Or did you just photograph everything else except those?

You know, if you have to ask other people what you need in terms of climbing gear, you probably don't need it.

Put that money away till you find something you covet.

At least one, maybe 2, sets of HB/DMM offset brass nuts.

Then Offset Mastercams from 1/2"-1"

Probably shoes to replace your ripped Miuras.

Maybe some smaller nuts (your rack seems to be low in this department).

(Though something tells me someone with as much gear as this doesn't need to ask, and is more interested in spending the afternoon organizing their gear for a brag pic)
