I'm aware of the winter storm coming our way, but I'm a bit desperate to find a place to take a couple of my students for their rock climbing trip this weekend... we can't really reschedule. I am wondering if the wall dries fairly quickly? I was looking at coming in Saturday evening after the rain and climbing on Sunday. And top rope is ok there, correct? Long slings...? Any beta anyone?

no beta, but how about you post yours after your trip? I'm from Jersey, but have friends over in NorthEast PA...so, I'm out that way quite a bit and would like to visit that spot. yeah, this storm sucks! it might be clear here in Jersey on Saturday. we'll see!

Sorry, you're going to be disappointed, because I'm probably not coming down. Its just seems like a lot of driving for us (2.5 hours x 2) to get down there, a possibly cold wet night of camping followed by a possible wet climbing wall. These guys are beginners, not sure I want to put them through that. Bummer...

Where are you coming from? Maybe we can help lead you towards some rock up your way. Most of the better spots are kept off this site.

I'm coming from Oneonta, NY. The plans have changed again and I should be there tomorrow, so I'll post beta about the conditions.
