Good article--keep 'em coming, although you're going to get some crap from folks who don't like clicking on other climber's blogs, even though the info is all climbing related.

I am establishing my pre-climbing ritual. Ties shoes Recognize a bit of anxiety Breath deeply three times Get to my first jug settle into the climb I am trying to use it irrespective of lead or follow, trad, bouldering or sport. Seems to be helping me.

In my constant worry that my worst fear (that someone actually takes me seriously) comes true, I'll add that I was being very much facetious. Except about the man jugs. Those I do have.

our pre-climbing ritual: 3 cups of coffee, 2 cigarettes and a bong hit..... for twenty minutes, you can climb anything
