I was climbing at Texas Rock Gym (in Houston, TX) two days ago and talked to the Operations Manager, Joseph Martin (acidbudda). He said that if we would like to do a group buy of a bunch of passes to the gym, he'd be happy to give us a discounted rate. Before I talk to the head guy, Jack Henderson (rockgymman), I'd like to throw out the idea and see if we have enough committments of people who want them.

Here's the info:
A normal 10visit punch card is $80 without gear, $125 with gear. It can be used by anybody, anytime (in other words you could buy one, and pay for five of your friends with it). Also, they have two locations ( 1.Memorial off the Katy freeway, and 2.League City, with a possibility of a third location being built in the Woodlands).

Joseph can get us discounted cards (didn't say how much - but it will be worth it), if you guys want to.

So, post back here or PM me and let me know if you're interested. If we can get cards for $50-60/piece (this is way doable - Exposure sold me cards even cheaper, and was still making a profit), then at $50card / 10visits = $5 per visit. Overall, this should save you about $30 off the original cost.

Let me know if you're interested!
Matt

Edit:
So far there are two users interested. Anyone else?

Cool, thanks bro.

You've got mail. :)

Any other takers? I'll give this another week or so before I get the passes.
