i did a NOLS mountaineering course in the Winds a few years back. it was a month and turned out to be a really great time. my advice is to leave before the little kiddies get out of high school or else you may be stuck on a trip where the average is 17 or something like that. a few years of maturity will go a long way to making your trip much more enjoyable. just my piece of advice.

ericaclimbstoo, ahh my lame ass handle is "greenspace" not greenpeace......dont ask, i dont even know why i chose it.
but are you going to be on a 25 and older course, or like pawilkes says there will be some teenies, i had 2 17 yr olds on my course, but of course there were over 25's too. either way, you will become a "professional camper" and begin a career in backcountry climbing........
organic, when are we going south, you coming down with mowZ or quickclips in March?

Well, there were many peeps at Quick on the Draw. I was not planning on going, but thegodfather, an old climbing partner of mine, talked me into it. I didn't place and neither did he, but some peeps for VE did. Congrats!!!!!

Thegodfather was supposed to put up some quotes, but I see none. He either passed out last night or posted them somewhere else; I will take up that task.

"Roger's kind of a twitchy kid." - When the godfather was describing me to some of his friends. By the way, thank you guys for letting us stay.

"Hey guys, I bought a new car!" - Exclaimed by Megan, thegodfather's fiance, every five minutes.

Megan - "She gets her right and left mixed up sometimes."
thegodfather - "she's not dumb, but you'll see what I mean when you meet her."

Well, that's it. It's over and done with. The next comp will be the one in Madison at Boulder's Gym in Madison. It's a great gym. I will be there and so will thegodfather.

Greenspace, yo.

Alright let us decide what we are doing over spring break. Who here has spring break or can take off work or is unemployed And wants to climb from March 20-28, with a possibility of leaving on the 19th. If you want to go you have to vote!

HP40- Lots of incredible bouldering can also hit up places in Alabama to sport climb and maybe tennessee

Red River Gorge- Tons of sport climbing and trad, not much bouldering MiGUELS PIZZA!!

So. Ill. - Jackson Falls, Drapers Bluff, Fyrne Clyffe -Tons of sport and bouldering with a little trad, Free camping

Other places - Joshua Tree, Red Rocks etc.

Please vote now!!!

greenspace--

the schedule for a trip is basically the 13th-21st, hitting up J Tree and maybe a few days in Moab with Quickclips and his friends who will be there. That's the basic plan. I was told that we should also check out tahquitz and suicide rocks if we're out there in that area, but we'll figure all that out as we hear from more people if they're coming with us or not.

Good timing.. I was planning on going to j-tree early march too. I won't be camping at all, my dad lives about 30 minutes from there. Since it's a small visit with dad I'll pass up the Moab stuff, even though that sounds fun!

HEY ROCKSTAR CLIMBERS! (i have a few comments to make)

Phil- bro you rock. and im sure it was your awesome climbing chi that kept dan (monopocketmojo) and i safe at the great red book. heal up quick, train at youre awesome goldberg gym, and ill see ya at A.Rock hopefully soon.

MowZ-- we were both at Quick on the Draw and didnt meet up!!!!! Argggggh!!! the pics and comp results are up though:
www.adventurerock.com

Greenspace-- the plan is just like dan said ... stop in Moab for a bit to climb with quickclips (aka Chris the gimp) and then to J-tree. I hope the $ stuff works out, it would be great to climb with ya.

Organic- Yo. Rockstar, you should come.

Quickclips and i are going to Boulders climbing gym in Madison on Thursday night (2 days from now, the 12th). It would be cool to put a face to some of you guys, so come if ya can, open invitation. monopocketmojo, that especially means you.

Ok im out! Counting the days until its warm enough to hit up the D Lake! (or RRG MIGUELS!!!!!)

I would be careful going on thursday. They are having their comp saturday and they were already stripping routes tonight (tuesday) and I would suspect that there won't be too much left.

I'm feeling left out  . Okay I know it's my own fault....I haven't been climbing for a few reasons....First Money! I'm saving to take this NOLS class this summer 21 day in the Rind River Range with 4 days of climbing.

Secondly, I'm still having issues with my shoulder....but I'm going to the doc. next week to see what the problem is. I miss you all!

Summer? I'm going to Vegas in June I know it's going to be HOT, but I'll be in that area a week. ROAD TRIP! Anyone what to meet me up there? I'll be there the week of June 13th then I'm off to WY on the 20th for my trip.

Spring? When are we hitting the Lake to climb? How is Chris's knee? Rachel how's your wall coming?

xoxoxo
