In reply to: Im going to be there 4:30 or 5:00 to boulder for awhile but as you guys start showing up I will start climbing routes. The weather channel just said for the front range to get ready to be dumped on!! Kyle Id like to check out your gym but this weekend has Donner Pass written all over it. Right on Dave, have a blast at Donner, look forward to some warm days at shelf once the weather gets better. BTW folks, I just noticed an iteresting stat on the CO page of this site. Three of the lovely ladies posting to this thread are top rated users from Colorado. Top Rated Users from Colorado: -- skibabeage (179633) -- amber_chk (166011) -- mother_sheep (136558) These chicks are hard core!!! :P Climb on ladies! KT

I'm home from work sick today, so I may end up taking it easy this weekend. Not sure yet. What's the Donner Pass trip, Dave? Are they getting any of this wet, slushy snow down there?

HA HA Donner Pass was that story (True Story) of a plane crash in the moutains where some of the people wound up eating a few of the others!! I was trying to make a funny about being stranded on 25 cause of all the snow we are supposed to get this weekend! Byt the way Kyle, what are you doing with that left arm of yours? Think your gonna need it?

Keep your mythology straight and your lies will sing.

Touche' http://www.pbs.org/...eature/sf_burns.html I was confusing one story of flesh eating zombies to another. Got the flesh eating part right, historical accuracy is almost secondary. 8)

In reply to: man. do you guys do any actual work, or surf the internet all day? i want your jobs!!! Actually I havent had much work over the past two years at my job so my day pretty much consists of internet surfing for 8 hrs a day. It gets real old real fast. I've been to the end of the internet and back about 15 times this week, taking a different route everytime. ha Rob

Hi skibabeage, your sign in name looks familiar. Do you post on TTips.com sometimes? Well, the weather fouled this weekend all up, but good news is: The extended forcast looks warm and fuzzy...I mean sunny for next weekend. I would like to put my beginner, flailing, pathetic, climbing body on some rock. I like the abuse. :D So, who's doing what next weekend and can I come along? Vince

Hey skibby, You must be getting some killer snow up there in Winter Park. We have gotten about six inches already here in Lakewood. Happy skiing.

No worries skibabeage, I just don't want to hear any jokes about waiting for the tele skier at the bottom. It definately is a ski weekend, I was busy being a "responsible" parent today. But, tomorrow I ski! 8) I'm going to tour out to the lost wonder hut and make some low angle turns. I'll be at the trailhead about 8am in case anyone gets a wild hair and wants to join me.

are you talking the lost wonder hut in the middle fork near Monarch? We did a nice tour last month up the north fork, traversed the ridgeline near etna then skied down to the hut then down to the lodge on the bobsled trail..how is the snow up there right now?

Looking for anyone that has days off this week (April 12-14.) I'm off work, and the weather might be good to us here in the Front Range. So let's climb. I've got a rope and rack. Let's go somewhere... All you non-working stiffs, sound off.

Today's weather was pretty sunny and nice. No wind. We went and hiked a little bit around Bear Mountain. Just breaking my boots in and getting out of the house. Anyone get out and do some climbing? Brush off the melting snow from the holds and all of that.

Hey Reno! If you could go Friday that would be the best because I have some tentative plans to climb on thursday at the garden, but that could change as well. What day would actually be best for you? Thursday or Friday? If you could spend some time teaching me to place gear and build anchors ther would be an extra guiness stout in there somewhere for you! Later

Anyone from the Springs want to climb at the gym tonight? Say, around 5:00? Zozo, I hope you weren't there all weekend! BTW, if anyone wants to climb with a newbie this weekend, I'm dying to get on some real rock again.
