Utah only sells 3.2 beer. Bring an extra six pack or 2 of good stuff to smooth things over with the locals.

I guess those of us flying in are out of luck for real beer. Very disappointing. I'll sit next to Adam so I feel better.

Aaahaaa.....the old suitcase trick. Very impressive. I might have to try that. Or maybe I'll just use my airline drink coupons for a bunch of those little bottles.

Please allow me to clarify for my dear foreign (non Utah) friends; teh beer sold in grocery stores and convinience stores is 3.2, but you can purchase "real" beer from state liquor stores and at resaurants, clubs, brew pubs, etc. Please don't worry that you may go sober during your visit to our state, you will be taken care of .

BEWARE!!!! You can buy "real" beer from state liquor stores which can be far and few between...also no national domestic beers i.e. Coors and Budweiser...and keep this in mind...they keep the beer piss warm!!!!! Yuck! Not to worry woodsE will be coming through for all of ya "dry" folks with some good CO micros and some lesser quality stuff as well. woodsE

Adam: I'm in just good enough shape to be your Sherpa this time. Too much of the good life has caught-up with me. Hangerless has left me in the dust. I'm good for at least a half a pitch of 5.4+! [ This Message was edited by: toobigtoclimb on 2002-05-09 08:34 ]

I need some info and a ride, my wife will be coming with me but she doesnt think she can deal with 3-4 solid days of climbing, so we are planning on sending her back Fri morning. First off, how far is lcc from the airport, would it be too far for a taxi ride? Second, can someone pick my wife and me up at a hotel around the airport Thurs. morning, deliver us to LCC and Take us back Sun afternoon? also if my wife is leaving Fri. morning, if its too far for a taxi ride can someone take us to drop her at the airport Fri. morning? one other option is, if someone is renting a car maybe I can split the cost of the car or pitch in some $$ to be able to use it Friday? Thanks Les
