The gear i have now is sufficient for toproping only. Are there any routes in City of Rocks that can be top roped and/or there routes that are alreapy bolted?

There are hundreds of bolted sport routes at the City of Rocks, at many levels.

Practice rock is the only rock that comes to mind specifically that is easy to toprope with one rope. There are a lot of cool climbers up there, perhaps you can have one of them set your rope up for you. Most of the routes that you'll want to do are very popular so don't plan on leaving your rope all day. If or when you start leading at the City, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE TWO ROPES. One SIXTY METER will work on most of the routes but be sure before you go up. My first time to the city we epic-ed on that rad 5.8 on Parking lot rock because we only had one 50 meter ropeand had to leave a biner- a pretty precious gift to the climbing gods considering how many we had at the time.

cheeze walls are great, but getting to the top, youd have to lead a 5.9, 6 draws i think. Swiss cheeze is a 5.7. great fun
