I agree with wildtrail, however if you are a begginer climber, and cant climb to often in the gym or outside, this will help a little with forearm strent, but you will have to do it for a long time to get a workout. Best thing to do is get a hangboard or climb.

Have not bought this item due to the fact that I know someone that has one and have used his. Just like any "forearm" trainer, it's worthless in my opinion. What makes this one worse, it's cheap plastic and spring deisgn isn't worth the almost 14 bucks they ask for it. If you want a forearm trainer, there is no substitute for actual climbing. If you can't get to the gym or the crag as often as you like, lift weights. They do twice as much in half the time. If anything, squeeze a tennis ball. Cheaper and you get the same, does-almost-nothing result.
