CHEAP COMFORT! 4 out of 5 stars

Review by: brianharrington, 2007-02-25

PROS:
A good first shoe. Size it smaller otherwise you'll be swimming in it. Flexible. Good warm up shoe. I could wear these all day. Sticky. Great for smearing
CONS: if your feet sweat expect the dye to transfer. Not for standing on a dime edge. Stretch a lot hard to anticipate how much.

this is my warm up shoe. if buying on price there are better options in the 80-90 range. If you have a bad location your outdoor store might only have this and cheaper shoes.

Comfy 4 out of 5 stars

I've enjoyed my pair of coyotes, they're hands down the most comfortable climbing shoe I've ever tried. My only complaint is the amount of stretch in the shoe. When I bought mine I sized them snug, they've since stretched a full half size and now the sides roll up when edging. Even so I still keep them around for warmups and routes that don't require agressive shoes.

Don't Undersize! 3 out of 5 stars

I'm sure these shoes would be great sized normally but I got a .5 size under and they kill my toes after about two hours. Also, I have a huge air pocket in the heel. I guess for 75 bucks they aren't bad but there are definately better shoes out there.

Coyote 5 out of 5 stars

Very comfortable even after much climbing -- unfortunately now my arms wear out faster than my feet. Lacing them up from the complete toe allows me to tighten them exactly where its needed.
