These are my first climbing shoes. I'm (well was when I started) 220lbs and was VERY poor in the foot work area, so the shoes took a bad beating. Missing a bit of rubber on the edges, resoling them soon. But have served well for the last 6 months, 2-4 times a week, every week indoor gym, Velcro works as new. Heel hooks are very stable and stick well even to slick surfaces. The only down side is they are alittle on the soft side compared to other shoes. Still love them.

Good so far. 4 out of 5 stars

Pretty decent shoes, havn't had them long but they preform well, good with smearing and heel hooks are good.

My First Pair of Shoes 5 out of 5 stars

The Mad Rock Flash are my first pair of rock climbing shoes due to their inexpensive price and narrow heel cup for heel hooking. These shoes are worth their weight in gold. Super sticky rubber, inexpensive and easy off/on (when bouldering.) I highly recommend to all.

The worst Velcro ever 2 out of 5 stars

I bought one of them because of the price. When new they was not that bad. After some use the velcro come out every time I step on a small edge. I gave two star because they fit well
