Nice bouldering, So far. 4 out of 5 stars

Review by: jermanimal, 2008-01-10

Been on them a few sessions, will add to review as time goes on. Got these to replace 5.10 Coyotes that are headed to be resoled. Got these painfully tight, 3 sessions and they have gotten pretty good, anticipate they will settle a little more even. Concerned they might stretch too much, right now they are freaking nice. I was instantly better. Granted we are only indoor this time of year around here, but I nailed a route I had been working on for some time...seemingly with ease. Stuck to everything, heel is amazing and could stand up on unimaginably small jibs and edges. Amazing how much I was compensating with my arms for my older worn out shoes.

Good first shoe 3 out of 5 stars

These were my first shoes and were decent for that. They wore through rather quickly, after about months of gym climbing only i put a hole right through the toe. If you don't climb all that often these are very good shoes with very good friction, but if you climb heavily, even just in gyms, go for a little bit more money

Crap Tacular 1 out of 5 stars

Not bad for when I first started, by the time i stepped up my game though I was too poor for a better shoe. This thing let me down by tearing through the soft rubber really fast. The velcro goes bad pretty fast, I had to staple the staps shut once they were on. Save your pennies and by a better shoe. Or steal some from the lost and found at your gym.

FLASH...In the Pan 4 out of 5 stars

These shoes are reasonable value for the price, smear well and are comfortable, but they do wear out quickly. I barely had them 4 months of 4/week outdoor climbing and both shoes had holes in the toes. I would recommend them to the budget conscious climber who climbs a moderate amount although if you are really putting on the miles, you may want a more durable shoe.

Great Begginner Climbing Shoe 5 out of 5 stars

I bought this shoe when I first started climbing and was not sure if I would continue so I wanted a relatively cheap shoe. I have had this shoe for over a year now and have no complaints. It is a great shoe and the price is right. It is very easy to put on and the Velcro is great.
I would recommend this shoe for everyone.
