i have 9 of these half of them have the bent gate or the straight on one end but the rest are wire on both ends
the wire clip wonderfully
they are the work horse of my sport rack
but i use them for trad as well
got them for a good price at gear store in town since i got so many of them
oh and i have the 5.0 biners on them not the 4.0 like on the picture

desent locking biner, don't have to wory about locking it
but if you get dirt in it it tends to stick open and tuff to get back
minor note it has a funky shape to it so it can be hard to get a grigri set up right

my favorite locking biner had to get another one so i could belay with it when my second kept on taking it up to the anchors
the key lock is great since it wont get stuck on hardly anything
the gate is smooth, and the red warning mark is handy
i got them both on sale so if you shop around the price isn't so bad

second shoe i've owned
my mad rocks got to small
my street shoes are about 10.5 i got these in an 8.5
but i like them really small
they have sinthetic uppers so they wont stretch as much as you might hope
but i've climbed slab, crack, overhanging you name it they haven't failed me yet
i do like to put on my mad rocks if i'm going to do some really intricate footwork

wonderful helmet
love the adjustability, light, my lamp fits on it great
and will defanetly stay on my head
after climbing in it for a while i forget its on until i bump into something and then smile
minor note, the clasp on it can be a little funky if your fingers are burnt out
