I use them up to UIAA Grade 6 and still can stand in that shoes for more than 2 hours. Very comfortable (for a climbing shoe). For edging on VERY small lasts or overhangig rock, shoes like the Testarossa of La Sportiva are better. But the Mythos is a fine universal performer. It is your choice to purchase it in a more comfortable size or somewhat smaller for better climbing performance. Take care: The leather stretches a lot, but mostly in the width, not in the length.
