Good device. I would recommend rigging the device backwards (in the picture above, have the carabiner that the rope goes around at the top of the device, instead of at the bottom). This makes the rope feed much more smoothly.

Pretty good shoe. Edges like crazy in the beginning, but is pretty heavy duty and is not made for technical edging. Durable, but I replaced the stock insole with a custon one (the original is thin as hell). I can climb some 5.10 stuff in these shoes, but only if its short. Wouldn't recommend crack climbing in them. They are also highly water resistant, especially if you use some glue or silicone to seal the welt.

Excellent racking and all-purpose biner. These things are relatively lightweight, clip like a dream, and excel in many applications. Good mainstay biner for trad racks.

However, the Hotwire and Trango lightweight wire are more versatile and lighter.
