I had the same issue with the sole coming unglued. It's a good, stiff shoe for edging, but almost worthless for smearing. I'd give it a worse rating, but I like the lacing.

These holds aren't just shaped like real rock. I am amazed ar how well I can hold onto such appearantly smooth holds. They seriously come closer to anything else I own to rock.

My least favorite in the set of 3. They have nice texture, but I don't find the shapes to be much different than other brands. I actually use some of these at the base of my wall for foot chips, which is not the case with the other 2 sets.

I have large holds near these things that I'm not even using anymore. The texture and shape are very friendly. I've stopped using my hangboard lately because I've finally found small holds that I can use everyday.

Nicros put just as much thought into these things as their larger holds. If things get boring, close your eyes, spin them, and you've got something totally usable and new. I thought I was getting a deal on some other holds, but they were totally inferior. Buy these holds.
