I have been using this rope for 1.5 years now and it's pretty toasted. It was slick as can be when I first got it but it is a 10.5 so it still was manageable. After that it flattened out which is annoying but not terrible. Then however the sheath slipped some and the core twisted which is a pain. Now though one side has obvious signs of more wear than the other for the first 40 ft and I wouldn't lead that side anymore.

On the up side this rope has gone everywhere been beat up in the desert, forest, on sandstone, granite, quartzite, has done it all. It was however always cleaned off and kept in a rope bag afterwards.

I have logged about 300 pitches on this rope.

I wouldn't buy it again, it was my first rope and I expected more life out of it.

Hands down the best I've used. I'ved tried the wire gates and yeah they work nice but these are just better to me. Super smooth, easy to clean, and you only have to buy them once so don't worry so much about the price.
