Description:

This is the beautiful waterfall that comes out of the notch in the rock wall just west of the Visitors Center. One of the most aesthetic climbs in the area, with an excellent ledge halfway up for a great belay. The second (crux) pitch heads up steep ice to the notch and a short, narrow snow gully. The second pitch uses the entire length of a 165 foot rope, so be careful and don't wander around too much, or use a 60 meter rope. To descend, head down a snow gully to the left and traverse back right through the woods about 100 feet above the bottom of the gully.
