Description:

Climb the Fiver to ledge, continue up and left passing the overhang at the nice new bolt and climb steep crack/face to the top of Practice rock. Good gear.

Was considered a 5.9 in the old Rock Climbing Montana book, but in Kyle Vassilopoulos' new book Rock Climbs of Southwest Montana this route is given a 5.10b.

5 out of 5 stars Wizard's Well

Went back to try this one again after several years. I think it just may be my new favorite route on practice rock! Led it cleanly this time! I guess you do get better with practice! :D

4 out of 5 stars Climb it!

This climb doesn't see as much traffic as it deserves.

5 out of 5 stars great climb

a little sketchy getting off the fiver/theoretically ledge, I'm not generally a fan of ledge fall potential. This is One of the best 5.9's around... or anywhere. A 60 will reach the top from the ground.

Tough route. Tried onsighting it, got scared just after the bolt, so had to go around and top rope it. Oh well. If leading this, there are definatley one or two all out moves that must be done before pro could be placed.
