Just Say Go is the best moderate on Elephant, but this arete is worth doing. No real crux, laid back for the grade.

I am not really a sport climber. The route was fun, but we ended up backing off it at the 3rd to last bolt. You're easily looking at a 15 to 20 ft whipper on each of the 2 last bolts. Not my cup o tea. Agree with other comments about not getting tunnel vision on the bolt line. Adding PG13 as I think you could easily get hurt on the last 2 bolts. 10a felt right.

My dad first had me try to lead this when i was 11, but never made it past the second bolt. Finally was able to try it again and although it was fun, it wasn't super amazing or anything.

Western slab is far tougher than that of the Midwest. I've onsited 11a slabs at the Red River Gorge. This nearly shut me down . . .

I wouldnt know. I led this while it was blowing super high winds. I was terrified since the wind was almost blowing me off the wall. I am sure it would be nice under regular conditions :))

Like the spread on the bolts and just an all around good climb

Fairly easy 10a. It's a really good friction slab climb, a lot of fun.

Nice face climb. Smear, trust your feet and you home free.
