Soloed in hiking shoes

Only TR, should have led but did not do trad at the time

Wind made communication and rope management difficult. We needed something easy after spending 3 hours on Middle Crack. :)

been on the route before as a second. i chose to go up after the dihedral rather than the undercling to the left. i enjoy that way quite a bit, but figured i would see something new. view is great up top. rope drag was an issue. e

... we ended up having tons of rope drag and having to use two ropes to rap down with.

This route is terrible. The way I climbed it, I got severe back pain from leaning down to place protection. Was told afterwards that an easier way is to climb it as a slab, with your hands up, rather than a standing lieback. I would have easily lead the first pitch, but my climbing partner wanted to build the trad anchor, since he wasn't familiar with my leading skill enough. If I do this route again, I would just solo it trailing a rope.

We accidentally solo'd the first part of the route. Used lots of runners so rope drag wasn't a problem.
