This is a tough 5.8, especially in the beginning (the crux). The combination of fist jamming and layback moves with almost no footholds for 15-20 feet left me out of breath for the roof pull that followed. Fortunately, the roof has lots of good holds and the rest of the climb is not that hard. It was real satisfying to make it to the top of this climb, even if it was on my second try.

cleaned it. sweet route. I would call the "overhang" a "roof", though not a hard one (lots of of big jugs). Looks intimidating though.

The route gets its rating from a 5.9 move past a dihedral to face crack transition you make just before a cave. The rest of the climb is 5.7. Put it all together and the overall rating is 5.8.
