Description:

Start a few feet right of the belay station of Calypso. Follow a finger crack up to a large ledge with a boulder resting on it. Try not to look like a beached whale while fitting into the crack made by the resting boulder. Finish by scrambling right to a set of rappel bolts or climb to the belay ledge of Calypso and climb pitch three of Calypso

This is my favorite climb on Wind Tower--I love the thin crack on p.2, which felt like a good old-fashioned tough 5.8 to me. I remember finding a welded stopper high in that crack and being so relieved to have pro without having to fiddle in a nut myself. And the beached whale move at the top is, hmm... interesting.
