Slabs

Didn't really know that slabs were "My Thing" until trying these three routes. Doesn't seem two grades harder than Ringworm, but it is more sustained. Suggested name: Trench Warfare, stepping out of the shallow trench seemed to be the crux.

Straightforward climb, nice protection, crux is unusual for the Gunks but really not that difficult.

Not for the beginning 5.8 leader

Seconded P1 after cleaning Apoplexy (5.9) and TR-ing Coronary (5.10), and this seemed every bit as tough. Thin climbing with only occasional gear placements from poor stances through the crux section of P1. P2 on the other hand was a blast to lead. easy 5.6 jugs with gear all the way.

Fun quick toprope after Apoplexy

Seemed easier than seconding Apoplexy, more my style of climbing. Thin balancey moves, but all positive holds, no wild reaches.

A lesson in focusing under pressure. Totally missed the foothold which gives a no-hands rest just after the crux. Took a good fall.
