Ascent Note
Amazingly I cruised this route (on top rope of course) I somehow managed to find holds outside of the crack and essentially face climb the whole thing! I always had one arm in the offwidth, but there's lots on the face for climbing

Ascent Note
Awesome route. Spiciest part was getting into the Orange Julius traverse - the traverse itself was actually easy, it was stepping up into it that scared me senseless. Great offwidth pitch!!! We topped out by climbing up the funky looking rock at the top - head for the tree ( this wasn't in the guidebook)

Ascent Note
Awesome pitch of hands!!! The crux is the beginning which isn't too bad for people with small hands - use the face for your feet.

Ascent Note
Well, I didn't intend to jump on this, but my leader was struggling that day so I thought I would give it a shot. Awesome lead, the pro is a little shaky/hard to find. As a new leader I almost crapped my pants!

Ascent Note
Man, if this the Locksmith route, than your description sucks! Climb a chimney/offwidth, funky mostly unprotectable start, 5.8 to a large ledge below Sphinx, than 2nd pitch up an obvious crack in the corner left of Sphinx crack. Mostly hands/fingers with a small finger crux at the top - use your feet!!

Ascent Note
Nice short little approach, great route, definitely a spicy move at the top for a 5.7. I laid it back, but at one point attempted to use some offwidth technique, which is too hard in that narrow little area.....

Ascent Note
Definitely need a little offwidth technique for this one.... Climbed this on Mother's Day with my mom and dad looking on and freaking out...hehehe.. I really liked this climb, offwidthed the beginning section and then climbed the face above the little overhang, great.....

Ascent Note
This route was a beauty, not a 5.11c I don't think. The hands were great, but my right ankle was killing me, and I brought the wrong shoes so my toes wouldn't even fit in the damn crack hardly. I finally resorted to climbing it with both feet in the crack, moving my right foot up and then placing me left hand on the wall and bringing my left foot up and repeat for 120 feet!!

Ascent Note
Awesome climb!!! The beginning was definitely a little awkward, but not that bad, and the crack above was a breeze. My hands are pretty small and I was big cupping, but the feet were all there so you don't really need the hands.
