that route description is a bit wild really..
the route is AWESOME but it feels easier than 8+ until the last move.
super great hand jams and a big ledge halfway up to rest your foot on. the last move is tall and spicy great fun.

The guide book says " a stiff adventure over 3 pitches "
Don't continue up the fingertip layback on pitch2 ... the anchor is mank. Go left when you can see the easier crack (that is the way the route is supposed to go anyway)

DONT go down the first HUGE chasm filled with trees and leaves. that is NOT the north dome gully. You will die. instead... walk about 1.5 miles to the point of washington column and then continue around the rim until you see something that looks decently 3rd class (you will have a full on view of half dome)
