Great climb. Last climb of the day, so yeah, I hung once and fell once. Two cruxes for me. The first clip stance was dicey and the moves just above the last bolt where I came off. I would like to go back and do this one clean. Highly recommend.

Followed my husband on this one. He made the roof move look easy. I wish I could say the same...it took me 3 tries to get a heel hook to move up. Oh well. Very nice climb.

Woo Hoo...my first real lead in a year. Nice climb. Flake below the crux move takes a .75 Camalot so the crux is well protected. Crux move is blind but solid.

I've yet to finish this one clean. Protection is scarce (it usually is in the Wichitas) especially at the bottom. It's leadable, just not by me, not yet anyway. Three bolts just before each hard move. Crux is at the second roof and involves a finger pull and a manky heel hook. If you come off there you are going for a ride!

Ascent Note
Can you go to Devils Tower and not climb Durrance? Followed Frank Sanders once again. He turned the 6 or 7 pitches into 3 really long pitches. Finished up the Bailey Direct. Compared to some of the other climbs on the tower, the rock was very slick in places (go figure). But some things are done not for the aesthetics but just because they are there.
