3 out of 5 stars tricky, pumpy

Clean on TR on 2nd try, should lead it but I'm not sure I have the endurance.

3 out of 5 stars heady crux

Probably not quite 10d. I'm not calibrated at the grade, but I didn't think any particular move was harder than anything else I've ever led (10c and below before today).

4 out of 5 stars 11a my ass!

More like 10a, maybe 10b for the reachy crux. But I won't complain about having an 11a on my send list. :) A breeze all the way up, I kept waiting for it to get hard. Waaayyyyy easier than the other 11a at this crag, and easier than the 10d next door.

2 out of 5 stars hard for a 10b

I've always thought this climb was hard for the grade, harder than the 10d on the other side of the slab. It took years, but I finally TR'd it clean on 9/13/09. Finally led 11/8/09. When you know the sequence, the crux may be a legit 10b move, but it's very hard to read.

3 out of 5 stars blew the onsight, damn!

The hardest move is the tricky balancy slab just below the first bolt, and I popped right off. Drat!

1 out of 5 stars not 5.8-

The Bubba City guidebook says this is good for new leaders; I disagree! The crux move is not 8- (or even 5.8 at all), and the anchor-clipping stance isn't the greatest either. This is a terrible lead for new leaders. I haven't failed to onsight a 5.8 in a long time, but this one I ended up bailing at the crux and TR'ing it after my partner finished it.

3 out of 5 stars 5.9 in guidebook

Someone has put a cold shut on the 4th bolt; we ended the climb there instead of traversing way off right to anchors next door.
