What an adventure this was...

The whole day was one I will always remember. Just a marathon of a day with the approach, the climb, and the decent. The climb itself was just beautiful. Just following the trail of jugs up half dome with featureless granite on both sides of you. One of the best days ever!

Really great route

This was a really great route. I got absolutely crushed on it. This was back early in my climbing career and that crux pitch was killing me. But the climb itself is fantastic, maybe someday I return and lead it.

This was a fun route. A lot of good sized knobs protruding from the granite. Good name for the climb.

I think just about anybody and everybody has climbed this route at some point. It's a really fun route and Roger would say, "Rico's dry".

Beware

This climb can and will piss you off. Getting off of the ledge and onto the wall up top is a major beeotch. A tough move to get off the ledge and then thin holds to clip off of. Fall here and hit the ledge, not a good thing.
