5 out of 5 stars Save some juice!

Awesome route. Interesting movement between the roofs. Save some gas for a hard V1 boulder problem at the end. Took me 3 consecutive tries to get the red point. I love the Red!

5 out of 5 stars Fun

Super fun, slightly technical, and considerably overhung. I climbed this with my friends and we all had differing opinions on what the grade should be. I think it should be 10c, they thought it was a hard 11a. I think it's because I found numerous almost no hands rests and kept my hips sucked in the whole time....or the fact that I climbed this with Triple Six Mafia playing in the background!!

3 out of 5 stars Okay route

Not sure why so many people like this route? The moves are pretty cool til you get to the Pale white Face. Then the "exciting crux" is literally a campus problem of five moves or very awkward and frustrating heel hook problem. It was fun I guess, but Alchemy is literally twice as fun with more consistency in fun.

4 out of 5 stars Very powerful and fun

Super overhung with huge holds. The crux is in the middle with a very powerful throw. Very fun.

3 out of 5 stars Easy Breezy

Difficult start to easy overhang, then punch out the crux and ride it to the chains. Chill, not very exciting though.

5 out of 5 stars Best 10 on the wall

Wow...super fun! Big throws to gargantuan holds and then to top it all off, the best hold I've ever touched to clip from (The coveted VCR hold). Seriously, there is a sidepull jug on it, a two red river gorge plates, an undercling, and a handjam all on the same hold...just do the route for the hold, lol.

5 out of 5 stars Super fun!

One bouldery move, then big jugs and big throws the rest of the way. If you just want to pull on some jugs with no thinking, THIS IS YOUR ROUTE!!

3 out of 5 stars 11b or 11a?

In the new guidebook this is rated at 11b, but 11a on here. I've talked to a few people about this route and apparently its the hardest of the three: Ivy league, Poison Ivy, Evil Weed. I thought this clocked right in at 11a, and even then maybe a little soft. Great route though...knock out the crux right off the ground and enjoy easy breezy fun climbing (save one slightly harder move at the roof) the rest of the way!

5 out of 5 stars Wow.

I was so intimidated by this route. It as and still is the hardest trad climb I've climbed to date. The crux is obviously the bulging dihedral hand rack but the problem is this thing doesn't let up. The "rests" are very difficult to use so you are just running it to the chains. When I got off this thing I collapsed on the ground, completely fulfilled, with an intense endorphin rush. Do it.
