Best climb of the BFC
Cool climb, the quartz vain is strait. Use the vain to protect and the rope drag is nil. But we used several 3,4,5 tcu and power cams.
Thw walk off sucked. its a bit sketchy. There is a bit of fresh cord slig around a rock to rap from if you do not wish do down climb the last wall(10 or so feet).

ok I guess
short little climb, ok for those just beginning trad. The walk off was the worst part. as high class 4 most of the way and a low 5 class for the last 12 or so feet. not the most ideal down climb.

tried it again
I would put this at 5.10a, this time after a winter to soften up. The roof is not bad, but the face after is small feet. Lead this clean this time. Had enough draws this time and a 70m rope. YES!. Now my last feasico turned in to a great climb.

serv to amber
This was a fun route. it looks like you are way up there, but that due to the steep hike in. Sustaind 5.8 first pitch. super fun and great feet and hands. First pitch end on a big ledge, carefull about kicking rocks off there are lots up there. second pitch is 5.7 to crux. crux is a small 5 foot move, 5.9. Second pitch is exposed! stoped there, third pitch is easy but a few stoppers would have been good to have.
EDIT: from the top of the third pitch a single 70M is NOT enough to get to the first pitch rapp ledge. mid way anchors are needed. so use double rope rap. For gettin gof the fist pitch a single 70 is perfect.

short shift
Just as the guide book says its just like night shift with a smaller roof.
Solid 9 to the roof. 10a at the roof and 9 again to chains. good route but night shift is better.

Great climb, big roof
The roof is not the crux, it is getting past the edge, and getting past the next bolt hanger.
Super fun route.

Eh..
OK rout, it pockets are dirty and filled with sand, made leading a PITA.
form TR the 511a move only deserves that because it covered with sand and is slick. I would recomend a stick clip for hte first bolt, its a ways up there.
the top right chain anchor is loose and needs to be fixed. Plus the chain up there are tiny and kind of sketchy. This rout has a lost of potential but it need work/cleaning.
