It's not runout

Maybe from the last bolt to the anchor, but there it's lower angle, friction-y, and not that hard.

fun climb

Started on the ground rather than at the tree ledge accidentally which worked out fine. Did the 5.8 variation. Did the 3rd pitch. The "walk off" after the 2nd pitch is a scramble/down climb - just FYI.

First pitch is REALLY polished. There's a ton of stuck gear. But other than that very fun.

Only first 1.5 pitches

Got half way up pitch 2 when a couple of very big trees fell down near Shannon Falls. It was really loud and followed by 5 minutes of multiple screams, then the sound of sirens. I'm a doctor and my climbing partner was a ER nurse. We decided to back off and see if anyone needed help. Fortunately noone was hurt. The first pitch was fun. The second pitch I was finding really hard. I'm a 10b (sport) climber but I don't have much practice with crack. It was an inside corner crack you kind of had to lay back on.

Very fun climb!

My favorite during my weekend at Squamish. Fun moves, great view, easily protected. We combined 2 of the pitches with a 70m, I think pitches 5 and 6. We belayed each other down the first part of the walk off b/c it was fairly steep and unprotected.

5.8 in the 2012 Squamish Select guide

and I think that's probably accurate. Bolted anchor. Very fun route. We rapped it with a 70m rope. The guide books says "a 60-m rope just works, but be careful."
