I've gone to other routes 3 times due to the line up on this one. It was good to link this with Corrugation Corner, but something better done on a week day when the numbers of people at the crag are down.

Crux required some creativity. I enjoyed that. For me a tenuous lay back with feet high got me through. You can cheat with the arete if you want but I think that takes the grade down quite a bit.

Straight up
Really nice climb. There were a few spots where I could see where I needed to get to the next bomber hold but had a good stretch of sustained climbing in between. I had to slow down and figure things out more than normal on a 5.9 route.

Face in or out
Very nice. Clean crack. Looks intimidating but did go at 5.7 as billed I think. Going out on the face for the start means it's a little ways before you can place pro, possible pendulum. Leader also needs to think about the follower and place plenty of pro in the lie back crack to prevent too much of a pendulum for them. Too bad this pitch is not part of a longer climb.
