5 out of 5 stars Full value!

This route packs a punch from bottom to top, but there are rests and good pro along the way. You can place a #5 on this, but it is not necessary. Double #4's and #3's will sew up the scary bits(or you can walk them if you have singles). Don't forget small gear for the hidden cracks in the chimney.

5 out of 5 stars One of the best!

Love this handcrack! Combining P2 of G-M with this pitch makes a great line.

4 out of 5 stars Aesthetic and technical

Love the way this climb flows. It is a beautiful, clean route requiring a variety of techniques from 5.9 chimney to .10b fingers and protects well with gear up to a #1 cam. (You can place a #3 above the ramp on the left if you're nervous about the moves below the bolted start. A #.75 can also be placed in the crack below the bolt).

3 out of 5 stars Thin, heady fun!

Extras of tiny cams and tcu's help to mitigate some of the runouts, but still a few heady sections on thin varnish and/or fragile rock keep the excitement high.

2 out of 5 stars disappointing

Excited about doing a bit more crack rather than the slab finish to Centrefold, we found this variation to be dirty and disappointing. While it isn't the worst corner I ever climbed, it certainly added nothing to the route except for a convenient rappel line.

3 out of 5 stars Heads up

This climb was enjoyable in that every pitch had something that really got our attention. Definitely makes for a fun afternoon when combined with one of the other 5.10's at the Papoose.

3 out of 5 stars Fun afternoon outing

This climb went rather quickly,. The first pitch was exciting and the best of the route. Take a #4.

There is a new "Hiking Trail" descent for the Squaw which avoids the "Climb Down" cave. Details/directions here:

4 out of 5 stars Wonderful route

Led P's 1,2,3.

We linked the first two pitches and the last two pitches(we were using a 70m rope) which made the route flow nicely. The cruxes are super fun and well protected and the climbing is varied and enjoyable. Note that there is a new "Hiking Trail" descent that avoids the dangers of the traditional "Climb Down" cave. 3 out of 5 stars Fun line!

This route is rated as 5.9 in the Squamish Select guidebook and that rating seejmed a little sandbagged, though I wouldn't say it was even close to feeling ".10b". The moves were all there and pro was good. It was an interesting and enjoyable line; I'm glad we hopped on it.

From the right of the start of Centrefold, watch for the fixed line, which you take to the belay ledge.
