4 out of 5 stars Great finger workout

Lots of small pro. No.1 link cams and smaller friends work well. Those and a few nuts/hexes. Nice trad crack when you're done for the day and want just one more climb. Fun midpoint move and easy rap from next-door.

4 out of 5 stars Caution....this is not the 8

Late in the day, an easy trad 8 to finish off the day was the idea...this route is the 11, the 8 is the NEXT dihedral! First half is sketchy with decent protection, second half above the first cracky crux is really headsy, exposed and pumpy....ugh! Two important foot chips have broken off.

pro: normal red river rack. couple of .5s or no. 1 link cams.

4 out of 5 stars Look out fingers

Lots of commitment in two crux moves. Maybe only one crux if you're better than average tall. I think it is 10b or maybe a c, 'cause there is a nice mid route rest, and there are quite a few easier moves interspersed with the 10b or 10c moves.

4 out of 5 stars Sweet

Second climb of the day, really tough start for a 10 if you're short, but way rewarding. Second clip requires commitment, as does the crux. Safety rating of R, only for the beginning and the second clip. Don't fall from the second clip prior to making it, as it will be on the ground.

0 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

Recommended. Gets toasty mid day and later in the warm months, so do it early or late

4 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

Sweet! Variety of gear placement options with a small commitment crux (particularly for shorter people) midway. A great route for the beginning trad leader. (Just enough sketch to remind you that trad is not sport!). Super fun. The classic midwestern trad crack.

3 out of 5 stars two ways to fun

C direct, straight up the obvious dihedral provides a little more exposure than the crack start to the left, but that provides a little traverse time, and for some may be the easier way to go.

2 out of 5 stars G

Way fun for shorter people to work out the beta for the first two moves. Middle and top are pumpy but nothing special.

3 out of 5 stars G+

Sketchiest of the five 5.10s on the wall. Don't blow the 2nd clip. Make your belayer aware of the ground fall potential if they're new to the climb and crag.
