About Grassi Lakes:

15 minutes outside of Canmore. Very steep rock with lots of neat features. Everything is bolted. Climbs range from 5.6 to 5.12d most are in the 5.10a - 5.12b range. Because of the easy access, this place is obscenely busy!
Nearest town or city: Canmore
Directions: Contact any local climber.
Latitude, Longitude: 51.08153, -115.37438
Access Issues: Access can only be made by the lower Grassi Lakes Trail. 2km in. Access: Smith-Dorrien/Spray Trail road, beyond the Canmore Nordic Centre. Comments: A steep hike past waterfalls to two spectacular small lakes. The climbing section is beyond these two lakes. The upper access trail, off the road, is closed due to trail erosion and rock fall.
