Description:

To the right of the big pine tree. Head up the obvious crack, go into the chimney, but don't go behind the chockstone at the top of it. Instead, come back out to the face, and continue following the crack up. Note: the last 10 feet may be harder than the grade if you continue up the crack to the end. Some climbs take easy escapes to finish. Decide for yourself if you want to escape to the right for the top-out.

Descent Options:

Rap or lower off your own gear, or walk off.

4 out of 5 stars Good first lead

Fun climb, a bit of a squeeze getting into the chimney but definitely worth it. My second trad lead and would definitely recommend for a first lead. Lots of fun in the chimney, easy pro.

4 out of 5 stars fun

a little awkward at the flared rattling fingers but straightforward other than that.
