Description:

Walk off the main Soldier Pass trail as it reaches a wide sandstone band near the pass and meander up and left to the tower's NW side. A crack splits the lower part. Climb up soft rock with little protection to curving dihedral (5.8) and top out on right. Tie off chossy boulder for anchor. Pitch 2 is loose 4th class past a pine to unprotected 5.8 slab.
