Description:

The classic couloir to the left of U notch. Like most Sierra gully routes, The crux is usually getting over the bergschrund. I've seen this at AI 3, but usually, it's easier. The couloir itself is 40 to 60 degrees, so bring a second tool. The route's abt 6 ropelengths. Descend via the Swiss arete descent described in that route.
