Description:

Start at the left end of the crack, and follow it up, traversing to the right after the crux, which is 15' off the deck and hard to protect on lead. It is apparently possible to aid-climb the route.

4 out of 5 stars An easy step up from Direct Route

This route has a bit harder start than Direct Route but is still easy and fun. There's a great view of SF from the top!

4 out of 5 stars Climbing in the middle of SF!

TR onsight - a strange, balancy, extremely slick climb and a bit hard for the grade. So stoked to be climbing .6 miles from my apartment in SF! awesome.

4 out of 5 stars Slippery and fun

This is a fun route - on glassy rock. Gotta hunt for the footholds - smearing is not your friend on this rock. Crux is the first ~20 feet, the rest of the route (the vertical crack) is easier and straightforward.

5 out of 5 stars Virgin Outdoor Ascent

Could not have been a better experience for my first outdoor ascent. The fact that you can top rope it, makes it a great start for beginners. I climb 11's in the gym many times a week, and the "10a" wasn't too hard at all. The first 20' is the hardest with the shiniest/slickest part of the cliff face, and the rest of the rock is solid and straightforward.

4 out of 5 stars Cool Wall

The mirror like rock is like nothing I have seen before. Fun just to see the rock itself. The climb offers some decent holds, after making you work for a few of them. Overall a fun afternoon. Use the stairs down further on Beaver street to set the TR anchor. We used the chain it seems safe to me, set a backup to another post with a 35' piece of webbing.
