Description:

Follow a crack up the arete (north side) of Castle Rock until the angle steepens. Follow the arete up to the top on supriseingly good holds to the top and downclimb the chimney on the other side. This route looks to have been a free solo for some time due to the ware of the rock. Then again, maybe not. Can be top roped by slinging the eye holes on top. No bolts or pro. Good free solo for confident 5.8 leaders.

4 out of 5 stars Good free solo

Looks easier than it is. Did it in my clumsy hikeing boots. It's easy but definately can get the pucker factor going. Fun way to the top of Castle for some T.Ring.
