Description:
This is the ultimate Diamond line, right up the middle. Unfortunately, the rock is not nearly as good as on routes to the left. Still, the route has a memorable history and the position is fantastic.

Rope solo
I soloed this route, it was a blast. The hardest part was hauling all my crap up there--I should have done it in a day! It was awesome spending a night in a portaledge, though, high on the Diamond. I got pounded by rain both days on the wall; for the hike down all my stuff was sopping wet which made it even heavier. When I got down I weighed the haulbag: 105lbs.
