About Sugarloaf Mtn.:
| Sugarloaf Mountain is owned by private landowners who do not mind climbers, however they seem to be waiting around alot for climbers to leave! The sign will say it closes between 4:30 - 6PM, But as long as your out by dark, no one will mind. The guy that shuts the gates is pretty nice, so be kind and he'll let us continue to climb here. The rock here at Sugarloaf can be VERY SHARP and week! If you tap on it and it sounds hollow, don't pull very hard. It's also very easy to rip chunks of rock off the sides of cracks when falling on CAMS!! Also, be sure to get lost in the woods! There are some good boulder problems (ALL with nasty landings) all over the place. You just gotta find'em! |
